Main Street Players present Te Juro Juana Que Tengo Ganas through December 16
The Main Street Playhouse located at 6766 Main Street, opened Te Juro Juana, Que Tengo Ganas to enthusiastic audiences. Emilio Carballido, a contemporary Mexican playwright and novelist, has set the story in a town where the pompous head of a private school is trying to straighten out the life of his daughter.
Although the production is performed entirely in Spanish, an English language synopsis in the program allows non-Spanish speakers to understand the plot. The show is directed by Alejandro Milián, and the production manager is Isaac Polanco.

Juana is portrayed by Silvia de Esteban, Diogenes is portrayed by Carlos Rapolla, Inés is portrayed by Vanessa Tamayo, Serafina is portrayed by Margie Marchant, Evangelina is portrayed by Johana Castaño, Librado is portrayed by Luis Acosta, and Estanfor is portrayed by Felipe Mora.
Remaining performances are from now through December 16, with performances Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 5 p.m. Tickets are $30 for adults and $25 for students, seniors and military personnel. Theatre League and Industry tickets are $20 with I.D. at the door. Tickets may be purchased in advance by visiting www.mainstreetplayers.com, or at the door an hour before showtime.
