Asst. Town Manager Andrea Agha is candidate for ICMA Credentialed Mgr

Miami Lakes assistant Town Manager Andrea Agha recently received the International City/County Management Association (ICMA) Credentialed Manager Candidate designation. She will become an ICMA Credential Manager in November 2018.

Agha is one of over 1,400 local government management professionals who participated in the ICMA Voluntary Credentialing Program. To be Credentialed, a member must have significant experience as a senior management executive in local government, have earned a degree, preferably in public administration or a related field, and demonstrated a commitment to high standards of integrity and to lifelong learning and professional development.

With over 12 years of private and public-sector government experience, Agha was also recently elected vice president of the Miami-Dade City & County Management Association.

Agha’s diverse background, including overseeing several of the Town’s departments, led to her promotion to assistant Town Manager in 2014. In this position, she has lead the charge in development the Town’s 10-year Strategic Plan which focuses on improving mobility, enhancing the Town’s signature beauty and economic development while implementing strategies to improve transparency and quality of life.

“As both an administrator and resident, I am committed to providing excellent service to our community,” Agha said.
