Ballet Etudes Co. of South Florida, which is celebrating its 43rd anniversary of bringing classical ballet and all genres of dance to the Miami Lakes area, announced its faculty of accredited guest teachers for its 2018 Summer Intensive.
Internationally renown teachers Yulia Pivotskaya, Roberto Vega, Marena Perez and Aureo Andino will travel to Miami to teach classes in Ballet Technique, Pointe, Partnering, Variations, Repertoire, Pilates, Stretch, Strength Training and more.
Pivotskaya received her teaching certification in the Russian method from the esteemed GITIS program and is a principal dancer with Dance Alive National Ballet alongside Vega who previously dance with Ballet Nacional de Cuba.
Perez and Andino are the Artistic Directors of Mauor Ballet, San Juan’s premier ballet company.
The Summer Intensive, which runs from July 9 to July 27, with a demonstration for friends and family on July 28, is open to Advanced and intermediate dancers with prior pointe experience. Scholarships are available for male dancers.
