BankUnited, staff support hurricane victims

After Hurricane Dorian devastated several islands in the Bahamas over Labor Day weekend, BankUnited employees donated generously to a relief fund and their company contributed to the cause as well.

The bank executives presented Koch with a check for $35,066 that represented staffers’ donations which were matched by the bank.
BankUnited is a national bank headquartered in Miami Lakes. Its campus is west of the Palmetto Expressway at Oak Lane.
