South Florida healthy dining chain Bolay served 3,000 free meals to nurses, doctors, police officers and firefighters who are caring for people sick with COVID-19. The company opened a restaurant in Miami Lakes in September at 15141 NW 67th Ave.. On April 1, first responders ordered their meals online and picked them up from the chain’s curbside tents, including in Miami Lakes. Food was also delivered to hospitals, according to the company, which has more than 900 employees.
“We believe it’s our duty to take care of those who take such great care of us,” Bolay Chief Executive Officer Chris Gannon said in a press statement.
