David Healy inducted into MDC’s Alumni Hall of Fame

David Healy, vice president and general manager for The Graham Companies Hospitality Division, was among a new group of distinguished Miami Dade College alumni inducted into the 2017 Miami-Dade College Alumni Hall of Fame.

The induction ceremony took place on April 18 at the Hilton Miami Downtown, where the honorees were recognized for their professional success and their contributions to the community. 

Healy’s hospitality career spans over 30 years.
As the top officer for The Graham Companies Hospitality Division, Healy oversees a vast array of operations, including two hotels, a golf course, as well as athletics and spa facilities.
In 2003, when he joined the company, Healy initially worked as controller and then head of the Rooms Division, Information Technology and Purchasing. 
Earlier in his career, Healy worked at Turnberry Isle Resort and the Hollywood Hilton Hotel.

He currently serves as chairman of the Greater Miami Beaches Hotel Association and is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. 

Miami-Dade College’s Alumni Hall of Fame Awards Ceremony is the largest MDC Foundation fundraiser, providing scholarships for MDC students.
So far, the fundraising efforts have raised more than $1 million through sponsorships and donations.
