Miami Lakes Economic Development Committee and the Career Source of South Florida are hosting a workshop on small business development for business owners at 8:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 25, at Miami Lakes Town Hall, 6601 Main Street.
Janice Aquino, business services supervisor for Career Source South Florida, will be on hand to discuss how business owners can maximize their tax incentives, including opportunity tax credit, qualified targeted industries and targeted jobs incentive fund.
She will also talk about training incentives such as on-the-job training and customized training.
Registration for the workshop starts at 8:30 followed by the presentation at 9 a.m.
