In a partnership with SCORE Miami, Miami Lakes Economic Development Committee will host a workshop and a series of one-of-one consulting sessions aimed at educating the local business community of the many resources that are available.
SCORE is a nonprofit association dedicated to helping small businesses start, grow and succeed nationwide. SCORE is a resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration and has been mentoring small business owners for more than 50 years.
The introductory workshop will take place at 9 a.m. on Friday, May 19, in Town Hall Council Chambers, 6601 Main Street.
The one-of-one consulting sessions begin on Friday, June 2. SCORE representatives will be at Town Hall twice each month on Fridays from 2 to 4 p.m. To make an appointment and/or check for specific dates, contact Jorge De Leon at 786-237-1726. Walk-ins are welcome.
