Miami Lakes Economic Development Committee will be hosting a series of workshops aimed at educating the local business community of the many resources available to them.
The first workshop will be held in partnership with SCORE on Wednesday, March 30, beginning with registration and networking from 8:30 to 9 a.m. and the workshop thereafter.
SCORE is a nonprofit association dedicated to educating entrepreneurs and helping small businesses start, grow, and succeed nationwide. SCORE is a resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration, and has been mentoring small business owners for more than 50 years. SCORE’s Simple Steps to Grow Your Business provides a road map to help business owners achieve the goals they have set for the growth of their business.
The second workshop will be held on Wednesday, April 13, in partnership with CareerSource South Florida and will focus on how to attract and retain talented employees.
