Graham employees nominated for Inn Key honors

Since 1995, The Greater Miami and The Beaches Hotel Association has hosted an annual tribute to all hotels’ employees with the Inn Key Awards. Over 950 hospitality, corporate and government leaders join hoteliers and their management teams to celebrate their hourly hotel employees which are the heart of the community’s tourism industry.

Last year there were over 340 nominees recognized in 24 categories ranging from Bellmen and Housekeepers to Culinary and Engineering personnel, as well as two Lodging Employees of the Year.

The annual award luncheon will take place on April 30.

At Graham Hospitality a division of The Graham Companies, there have been many past nominees that have won in different categories. The most recent winner was Miguel Lobato from Shula’s Hotel who won the 2016 Valet Employee of the Year.

This year, the following Graham Hospitality employees have been nominated for the awards:

• Lodging Employee of the Year – Dave Gergely, Shula’s Hotel and Golf Club.

• Front Office Employee of the Year – Joshua Janson from Shula’s, and Kenya Granizo from Hotel Indigo Miami Lakes.

• Roomkeeper of the Year – Joe Louis Morales from Shula’s, and Andrea Walker Morant from Hotel Indigo.

• Food and Beverage Employee of the Year – Rachel Rankin from Shula’s.

• Recreation Employee of the Year – Marisol Salguero from Shula’s.

• Culinary/Kitchen Employee of the Year – Nikki Niper from Shula’s, and Ana Rodriguez from Hotel Indigo.

• Administrative Employee of the Year – San Juanita Riley from Shula’s.
