It’s that delicious time of year -- Miami Spice season -- when South Florida restaurants offer three-course meals at special prices: $28 for brunch or lunch and $45 or $60 for dinner.
Two eateries on Main Street in Miami Lakes are participating in the program that lasts through Sept. 30.
Korner67 offers brunch, lunch and two different dinner menus. Brunch has classic dishes like salmon eggs benedict or new takes such as truffle and shitake croquettes and honey Saganaki cheese with pistachio crumble.
Also creative are lunch - with creamy shitake and short rib flat bread or artichoke white lasagna, and dinner, when they’ll serve Filet Mignon Stroganoff. There’s so much to choose from, call the restaurant to get full descriptions of the Miami Spice menus.
ML Steaks + Sports is offering a $45 menu daily from 11:30 a.m. ‘til closing. Choose from a wedge salad, Caesar salad or French onion soup for the first course. Second-course choices are half of a roasted organic chicken with bourbon BBQ glaze, fresh fish with Shrimp Scampi or a 6 oz. black Angus Filet Mignon, each served with mashed potatoes and fresh vegetables.
Dessert choices are Key Lime pie, New York-style cheesecake or white chocolate bread pudding. Wine pairings are also suggested.
