JetStream Federal Credit Union officers, joined by Miami Lakes elected officials and members of the town’s Economic Development Committee, officially celebrated the grand opening of its new Miami Lakes branch on May 4 in the Royal Oaks Shopping Plaza.
JetStream Federal’s chairman Bolivar Perez and CEO Jeanne Kucey cut the ribbon along with Mayor Michael Pizzi, Vice Mayor Tim Daubert, and Councilmembers Ceasar Mestre and Nelson Hernandez.
Daisy Castellanos representing Miami-Dade County Commissioner Esteban Bovo Jr. presented the credit union with a special proclamation.
The new branch was designed to have a retail look and feel with a highly branded member-friendly environment.
JetStream, which recently relocated its corporate headquarters to Miami Lakes Business Park West at 7900 Oak Lane, is a full-service financial cooperative with $182 million in assets, serving over 20,000 members.
The 68-year-old credit union has 7 branches located in Miami, Miami Lakes, Doral, Hialeah, and San Juan, Puerto Rico. The credit union has been a member of the Town’s business community since 1995 and employs over 70 in Miami Lakes.
