JetStream Federal Credit Union, headquartered in Miami Lakes, announced the appointment of Carmen Rogers as the newest member of its Board of Directors.
A longtime Miami Lakes resident, Rogers is a Certified Public Accountant with her own practice in Miami Lakes. She is active in the community including serving as past president of the Miami Lakes Chamber of Commerce and the Zonta Club of Miami Lakes as well as various charitable organizations.
Rogers’s credit union experience includes serving eight years on JetStream’s supervisory committee and chairing it for the past five years.
“Carmen brings a wealth of knowledge and credit union experience to our board,” said chairman Bolivar Perez. “She did an exemplary job serving as chair of our supervisory committee and I’m sure she will be an outstanding asset to our board of directors.”
JetStream also announced the appointment of Ileana Izquierdo as the new manager of Consumer Lending.
A longtime Miami Lakes resident, Izquierdo brings more than 25 years of lending experience to her new position, including consumer and mortgage loans. Prior to joining JetStream, she worked for US Century and SunTrust banks.
