JetStream Federal Credit Union hosts Future Bankers' Camp

JetStream Federal Credit Union once again partnered with the Center for Financial Training (CFT) and Miami Dade College (MDC) for the annual Future Bankers’ Camp Program.
The program provides a hands-on experience for high school students interested in careers in the financial industry. It is a two-week educational track at MDC and a two-week internship at a financial institution.
After successful completion of the program, the students receive the ABA Bank Teller and Customer Service Rep Certificates followed by a graduation ceremony. Those who graduate earn summer school credits and can apply for dual enrollment credits toward an associate degree in financial services.
JetStream’s AVP of Human Resources Vanessa Miranda said, “This internship program offers students real life work experience at a credit union while helping promote financial literacy for them and their families.”
