JetStream Federal Credit Union was one of the table sponsors for the Doral Business Council’s recent first ever Economic Forecast Luncheon. The event, hosted by the DBC’s Financial Services committee chaired by Mara Falero, vice president of Marketing for JetStream, was held at the Intercontinental Hotel in Doral.
Keynote speaker was Dr. Tom Cunningham, vice president, senior economist and regional executive for the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, who presented 2014 trends, topics, issues and predictions for the upcoming year.
A distinguished panel of local CEO’s, including Mike Pappas and Abe Ng, representing the local sub-sectors of real estate, tourism, hospitality, small business and international trade, followed the trends for the South Florida market and differentiating the predictions for the local versus national markets.
