JetStream's Jeanne Kucey named NAFCU board chair

The National Association of Federal Credit Unions (NAFCU) announced that Jeanne Kucey, president and CEO of JetStream Federal Credit Union, has been elected as NAFCU’s board chair.

“I welcome this opportunity to serve alongside NAFCU’s officers and board members in this new role,” Kucey said. “NAFCU is the No. 1 advocacy organization for credit unions and is very well-respected among lawmakers, regulators and the administration.

“I look forward to continuing to elevate credit union issues before all those in Washington and fostering a positive climate where our institutions and members can grow and thrive.”

Kucey brings over 30 years of financial industry experience to the NAFCU board chair position. Her extensive senior executive experience has provided her the opportunity to work with a diverse membership, affording her the ability to gain first hand knowledge concerning the needs of those within the credit union industry.

Since 2009, Kucey has been the president and CEO of JetStream Federal Credit Union headquartered in Miami Lakes.
