The Hispanic Heritage Foundation (HHF) and Miami Dade College have formed a partnership which focuses on enriching the HHF’s and Century 21 Real Estate’s Empowering Latinas Program, an educational and business opportunity to help Latina entrepreneurs in South Florida earn a real estate license.

MDC’s role for the program is contributing to the cultural and intellectual enrichment of South Florida communities by training up to 100 Latinas to become licensed real estate agents in the Greater Miami area.

The deadline to apply was closed on December 8 and candidates will be  selected on Friday, January 5.

MDC will support this initiative through an informative and motivational kick-off event and sessions on Monday, January 15 and Sunday, January 28.

The graduation ceremony is scheduled for Monday, February 26.

“At MDC, we believe that opportunity changes everything. We are thrilled to partner with the Hispanic Heritage Foundation to expand opportunities for Latinas in the important real estate industry,” said María Carla Chicuén, Special Projects assistant to the President.
