On June 14, Express Employment Professionals offices from California to North Carolina to Canada came together at local food banks and pantries across North America to help fight hunger.
Locally, the Miami Lakes Express office spent time working and serving at Feeding South Florida and was able to donate more than 100 pounds of non-perishable food through a food drive that was held leading up to a day of volunteer service.
“Brand It Blue Day allowed the entire Express family to come together to help the communities we work and live in,” said Michael Huffaker, Miami Lakes Express franchisee. “Thanks to our clients and associates, we were able to help Feeding South Florida to fight hunger.”
As Express continues its mission to put a million people to work annually, the company will continue to volunteer and serve the community and people that support them.
“We wouldn’t be where we are today without the businesses and people who have supported us, so we’re really looking forward to giving and serving the people of Miami Lakes even more,” Huffaker said.
