Mater Lakes Academy wins 61 medals at FBLA district conference

Mater Lakes Academy’s FBLA club won 61 medals at District competitions. 28 of those medals were first place from a multitude of categories.
Districts was held on January 25 at the Miami Dade College Kendall Campus. All medal winners will be competing in the State Leadership Conference in Orlando on March 22 through 25.
The following are the categories won and where they placed: Advertising first and third, Agribusiness first, Business Communications first and third, Business Law second, Business Plan second, Client service first, Coding and Programming first, Computer Game and Simulation Programming first and second, Cyber Security fourth, ebusiness first, Electronic Career Portfolio second, Emerging Business Issues first, Global Business first, Help Desk second, Impromptu Speaking first, Intro to Business third, Intro to Business Communication third, Intro to Business Presentation second, Intro to FBLA fourth, Intro to Financial Math second, Intro to Parliamentary Procedure first, Job Interview first, Management Information Systems first, Mobile app Development first and second, Networking Concepts third, Network Design second, Organizational Leadership second, Political Science third, Public Service Announcement first, Publication Design second and Social Media Campaign second.
