Owners of The Miami Lakes Art Academy, Adilas Hernandez and her husband Orelvis Dominguez, have now opened Miami Lakes A+ Daycare Center.

The new facility is located at 13905 N.W. 67 Avenue within the Lake Patricia Shopping Center in Miami Lakes, and officially opened it's doors on Monday, July 28.

Both Hernandez and Dominguez, who hail from Cuba, immigrated to the U.S. 11 years ago and have been working in the Miami-Dade County Public School system for 10 years as second language Spanish teachers.

Their combined knowledge of early childhood education, along with a passion for offering engaging, educational and interactive programs for children led to the creation of both businesses.

Apart from acting as director for the Miami Lakes Art Academy and the Miami Lakes A+ Daycare Center, Dominguez continues to teach at Miami Lakes K-8 Center.

When asked how Miami Lakes A+ Daycare Center differs from any other daycare facility, Dominguez said, “We want to offer the best prices and best care in the Miami Lakes community.”

The center, which will offer a Creative Curriculum, is fully bilingual and boasts an outdoor play center, and music, art, and educational programming for children between 3 months and 4 years old. Breakfast, lunch and snacks are also included in pricing.

“It's a brand new daycare center so all the kids who enroll will be enjoying a new facility, new services, and qualified teachers,” said Hernandez.

The center is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. For additional information regarding pricing, curriculum specifics, and any questions or concerns, contact 305-562-2236.
