Inspired by the goodwill and cheer filling the air this past holiday season, Adazzles Hair Salon and Supply, located at 7317 Miami Lakes Drive in the Cypress Village Shopping Center, and Miami Lakes AutoMall, located at 16600 N.W. 57 Avenue, teamed up to kick off a “Forward in ‘15” Free Makeover program during January. Three lucky ladies received free full makeovers including hair, makeup and a new wardrobe completely free of charge.
“We want to give the gift of feeling good by looking good for some women who may not be able to afford such a luxury,” said Carlo Krockel, manager of Adazzles. “If we can help a few deserving people get a fresh start for the new year, why not?”
On January 19, Krockel and his team provided world class beauty services to three randomly selected women who would otherwise not have the means to purchase it themselves. The entire process of their transformation was video documented and shared online, where Krockel will express his call to action upon other small business owners to do what they can to give a little back to their community, something his salon plans to do for three women every month throughout 2015.
“We want to challenge others out there who are as fortunate as us to help someone in the New Year,” said Fred Senra, general manager of Miami Lakes AutoMall. “If we can, we should.”
