Enterprising Women magazine recently announced the winners of the 2016 Enterprising Women of the Year Awards and a new award level, Enterprising Women of the Year Champions, which included seasoned marketing professional Kimberly T. Miller, Miami Lakes Business owner.

As the Founder and President of Ink Link Marketing, a full-service marketing and public relations firm, Miller joins a list of the world’s top women entrepreneurs.

“With hundreds of women entrepreneurs nominated from around the globe, we have added a new award category this year to recognize the outstanding accomplishments of a larger group of women worldwide. These “Champions” excel in a variety of ways –through fast business growth, community leadership or as outstanding role models and mentors in their communities,” said Monica Smiley, Publisher/CEO of Enterprising Women.

Miller has accumulated accolades from various industries, each in which she excelled and often as one of the few women in the workplace. As previous Vice President of Marketing for Pollo Tropical, experience with the marketing department of Burger King and having handled the media as a spokesperson during hurricane Andrew, Miller has dabbled in various forms of media and marketing which eventually led her to launch Ink Link Marketing, a full-service PR and promotions agency that specializes in the restaurant and food service industry.

The annual Enterprising Women of the Year Awards is widely considered one of the most prestigious recognition programs for women business owners. To win, nominees must demonstrate that they have fast-growth businesses, mentor or actively support other women and girls involved in entrepreneurship, and stand out as leaders in their communities. Many of the honorees also serve as leaders of the key organizations that support the growth of women’s entrepreneurship.

Award winners were recognized in seven revenue categories ranging from annual sales revenues of up to $1 million to more than $100 million. For the new Champion award category, all revenue levels are represented.

“I am truly honored to be named to Enterprising Women magazine’s 2016 class of Champions,” said

Kimberly Miller, President of Ink Link Marketing. “Throughout my career, and now with my own agency, I increasingly realize the potential impact I can have on my professional team and the organizations I serve in the community. This inspires me to explore more ways that we may all grow and be successful together.”

Enterprising Women, with headquarters in Cary, North Carolina, is the nation’s only women-owned magazine published exclusively for women business owners that chronicles the growing political, economic and social influence and power of entrepreneurial women.
