Norka M. Diaz started in real estate 32 years ago and shortly after launched her own real estate company, Norka Realty Inc., in Hialeah where the office remained for 30 years until the move to Miami Lakes became inevitable. The company recently celebrated its first anniversary in the Miami Lakes office.
“I’m a longtime resident of Miami Lakes,” said Diaz, “and so it was only a matter of time before I moved the business into the area. The staff loves it. We all walk to get lunch and we are in a central location for the areas we service.”
Norka Realty Inc. services all of Broward and Miami-Dade County for houses, town homes, single family homes, condominiums, luxury homes, commercial properties, as well as rentals for residential and commercial property. Additionally Norka Realty Inc. is a listing agent for HUD-owned properties and Premiere Asset Services sub division at Wells Fargo.
Diaz describes her business as full service from beginning to end.
“To us, our primary goal is to make sure the client is taken care of,” said Diaz. “This is a full time, 24/7 job for all our agents.”
Diaz is the past president of the Realtor Association of Miami-Dade and Northwestern Dade. Her decades of experience do not take away however from the spark of joy she feels doing what she loves.
“My favorite are first-time home owners. They’re so excited and there is an inner glow they have that is so enjoyable to watch. I’m very fortunate to be here in Miami Lakes and fortunate I love what I do,” said Diaz.
