There’s a new spa in town! Pines Aesthetics will host a grand opening on July 17th.
It is in the space once held by the Spa at Shula’s, which closed in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
It its place, attached to Shula’s Athletic Club at 15150 Bull Run Rd., is Pines Aesthetics.
It will offer manicures, pedicures, massages and facials.
The owners are also bringing additional services to Miami Lakers: Botox injections; lip fillers; laser hair removal and slimming services such as cool sculpting and body con- touring.
“My husband and I noticed there weren’t too many places in Miami Lakes that do aesthetic procedures,” said Melisa Alvarez, 32, who co-owns the spa with Carolina Duran, 21.
“We decided Miami Lakes was a great fit and we like the area, especially being located right by Main Street,” Alvarez said.
Alvarez has another spa in Hialeah called Coral Med Aesthetic, which she opened in 2014.
A third spa is planned for later this year in Pembroke Pines.
The Miami Lakes spa will be open from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. on the 17th.
New clients will receive a 10 percent discount.
There will also be drawings that day to win Botox packages, massages, lip fillers and facials.
Regular hours will be Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Saturday, 9:30 a.m. – 4 p.m., closed on Sunday.
