Your Better Mortgage celebrated opening its new office in Business Park West with a ribbon cutting party on April 24. The company specializes in home mortgages, refinancing and home buying among other services. Owner Nancy Aguirre is married to Councilman Juan Carlos Fernandez, who also works with the business as a mortgage broker.
“We have one of the best mortgage companies in South Florida here in Miami Lakes … thank you, thank you for staying here in the Town of Miami Lakes,” Miami Lakes Chamber of Commerce President Ray Palacios said.
Fernandez praised his wife’s hard work and called the opening of her office “extra special.”
“We began in Miami Lakes in what we called our efficiency, and we outgrew that very quickly,” Aguirre said.
The business moved to a co-working space in their current building and now have their own address, at 7900 Oak Lane, in Governors Square in the Leroy Collins Building.
“I know you’re all going to do just great,” Mayor Josh Dieguez said.
