Hilarious comedian and Miami Lakes resident Rich Purpura will bring magic and non-stop laughs back to the Main Street Playhouse on November 17, following his successful shows from September 27.
Purpura has been leaving crowds howling with laughter for years, as evidenced by his many friends who were in the audience to lend their support, some of which came from out of town. Quite a few audience members had never seen him before, and good times were had by all.
There will be a separate family magic and comedy show at 2 p.m. for kids from 5-12 years old. Rich performed this show on the Disney Cruise Lines, and was voted Favorite Comedian for seven years in a row.
Purpura is ready to expand his one-man show “The Joke Jukebox.” Audience members provide topics for Purpura to instantaneously come up with a joke. Audience members who stump “The Joke Jukebox” win a prize.
The comedy show will be held at Main Street Playhouse on 6766 Main Street on Saturday, November 17. The kids magic show will be at 2 p.m., and tickets will be $10. The adult comedy show (18 years or older) will be at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. and tickets will be $25, but includes $5 towards concessions.
