Bon Vivant Charcuterie and Gourmet Market is bringing a bit of Euro summer to Miami Lakes.
To celebrate the shop’ one-year anniversary in June, owners Lilly Tudela and Jennifer Lajud have debuted new menu items.
There are four new wine-based cocktails and one mocktail; three new happy-hour appetizers to try and three new sandwiches to sample.
The Venetian Orange Spritz ($15) is made with an orange aperitivo, prosecco, sparkling soda and an orange slice, made to be like an Aperol spritz.
If you want something lighter, there is also Bon Vivant’s take on a Hugo Spritz ($15) with elderflower syrup, cava, sparkling soda, mint and lime.
Also on the lighter side is the Lillet Blanc Spritz ($15), a French aperitif made with Lillet Blanc, prosecco, sparkling soda and a lemon twist. There’s also the Strawberry Rose Spritz ($15) with Lillet Rose, cava, sparkling soda and fresh strawberry.
For a nonalcoholic option, try the Ume Spritz ($13), made with Aplos non-alcoholic mocktail mix.
All the spritzes are available for $12 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday nights.
New menu items to share include marinated olives ($6) and truffle charcuterie nachos ($17). The nachos are made with Jose Andres chips, prosciutto slices and fig jam with honey drizzle. There’s also a tablita for two with cheese and fruit ($28).
Finally, the three new sandwiches on the menu are the Fig & Fancy ($15), with brie, prosciutto, fig jam and greens; the Amalfi ($15), with turkey, provolone, cucumber, greens and a truffle mustard aioli; or the Italian Stallion ($17), with salami, prosciutto, mozzarella, arugula and a balsamic glaze.
To get a taste of the new happy hour menus at Bon Vivant Charcuterie and Gourmet Market, visit them at 6707 Main St, on Friday and Saturday nights from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. with the new menu items starting at open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sundays, closed Monday and Tuesday.
