Shula’s Athletic Club is hosting “Workout for a Cause” to benefit the Message from Mari Foundation from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 18. The Mari Foundation focuses on Ovarian Cancer Awareness for women and the importance of early detection of the disease.

Shula’s will showcase its new cutting-edge Thrive Training Area. Thrive coaches will guide participants through a workout that was developed by world-renowned strength coach Mike Boyle, who trained the 2013 World Series Champion Boston Red Sox and the 2014 Silver-Medal winning U.S. Women’s Hockey Team, as well as hundreds of NFL, NBA and NHL athletes.

Participants will learn that they do not have to be an elite athlete to train as the program is personalized for any age, fitness level, or goal.

Workout participants will also have an opportunity to win a number of raffle items while enjoying a light lunch, chair massages, musical entertainment and a special break dance performance by Raw Miami Ent.

Participants do not need to be a member of the Shula’s Athletic Club and a minimum donation of $10 is suggested.
