The Main Street Merchants Association, along with sponsors, community organizations, restaurants, arts and crafts vendors, and local businesses, are preparing for the 8th Annual Taste of Miami Lakes Festival on Main Street from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, February 28. Admission is free.
With over 60 vendors lining Main Street from Bull Run Road to N.W. 67 Avenue, the Main Street event will feature activities including showcases from local high schools and specialty studios, a Kids Area Fun Zone, musical entertainment on the Main Street stage with danceable tropical sounds by Ramiro Aguirre y su Charanga, as well as the Manuel Gamez Trio, face painting and a magic show, performances by the Bob Cats Jump Rope team, dance teams, Karate demonstrations and much more.
The Taste of Miami Lakes is a one-of-a-kind outdoor festival which celebrates the spirit of Downtown Miami Lakes and is a community event perfect for the whole family.
