Miami Lakes Elderly Affairs Committee will host a Thanksgiving social for seniors on Wednesday, November 16, at Town Hall, 6601 Main Street.
As the Oktoberfest social was canceled due to Hurricane Matthew, the Thanksgiving social will allow seniors to socialize with their Miami Lakes family and reflect on the many things to be thankful for.
The event is sponsored in part by Coventry – Aetna.
The Elderly Affairs Committee will be collecting canned goods for the food drive by Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church.
