Miami Lakes will host a free business workshop “How to do Business with Miami-Dade County” on Thursday, January 26, at Town Hall, 6601 Main Street.
The workshop is presented by Miami-Dade County Commission chairman Esteban Bovo Jr. in partnership with the county’s Internal Services Department which oversees Procurement Management for the county.
Miami Lakes businesses are invited to learn about the streamlined operations, simplified procedures, and required documentations via the new online vendor registration portal. The portal allows both existing and future vendors to easily do business with the County and participate in upcoming contracting and business opportunities for goods and services, and county design and construction contracts.
The workshop is free. Breakfast and registration starts at 7:30 a.m. with presentations from 8 to 10 a.m., followed by a question and answer period from 10 to 11 a.m.
