“Thanksgiving, I’m going to spend it with my nuclear family, my mom, my sisters and my dad,” Danny Nieves said. “During Christmas and the New Year, I’m going to L.A. to visit a buddy of mine who lives out there. This is the first year since 2019 that I’m traveling during the holidays."

Kenny Quintero  Owner, Quest Martial Arts, Palm Springs North

“Family [and] catching up,” Kenny Quintero said. “We’ve been working so hard to open up the new school, just [having] family time. We’re trying to take a trip at the end of the year and do a big party with the kids here [at the martial arts studio]. We’re planning a cruise, or a trip to Tennessee.”

Yilena Morales Owner, Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming, Miami Lakes

“We are going to be working this whole holiday to bring the best service to Miami Lakes,” Yilena Morales said. “We’ll be having a festival on the holidays and a photobooth for the doggies with Santa. Thanksgiving we’ll be closed and spending it with the family. The focus] will be here [in the bakery] to celebrate that we’re finally open.”

Renata Espinosa Owner, Renata Alchemy, Miami Lakes

“This week I’m doing a brunch for my kids and nieces that’s going to be my Thanksgiving get-together,” Renata Espinosa said.  “For right now [I will not be traveling]. I do expect to be busy with the store, so I just want it prepped up and just take it easy. Hopefully, when it’s not so crazy, I’ll be able to take my holidays.”

Enid Munoz  Owner, Undrgrnd Miami store, Palm Springs North

“We’ll be open on Thanksgiving [and then] going to Tennessee,” Enid Munoz said. “It is our first trip to Tennessee, and we’ll be letting the kids see snow for the first time, hopefully.”
