Mayor Manny Cid and councilmembers welcomed a new business to the Miami Lakes community on February 19 with an official Open House and ribbon cutting. Specialty Smiles is located at 16375 N.W. 67 Avenue in the Windmill Gate Shopping Center.
Specialty Smiles is an orthodontic practice offering metal and clear braces, Invisalign, and other clear aligner services.
Dr. Eddy J. Sedeño and Dr. Melissa Alfonso Sedeño are both orthodontic specialists, and Alonso Sedeño is also American Board of Orthodontics certified.
The practice is one of the oldest orthodontic practices in Miami Lakes dating back to the 1980s, originally known as Taylor Orthodontics.
Eddy Sedeño is originally from the area having grown up in the Lake Elizabeth neighborhood and attending Our Lady of the Lakes and Monsignor Edward Pace High School.
