In an effort to assist Miami Lakes’ growing business community, the Town has created a “How To” video that provides business owners with the quick and easy steps to make their annual Business Tax Receipt (BTR) payment online.

An initiative by Councilmember Frank Mingo, the Town’s Building Department has made it easy for both residents and businesses to access several online services to find information about permits, projects, contractors, inspections, licenses, violations, search properties and pay fees.
“This is another step in the Town’s efforts to keep the citizens and businesses well informed,” said Mingo.
Online users can do everything from scheduling an inspection to checking the status of a permit, and even search for contractors who are licensed and in good standing with the Town.
