On Saturday, Dec. 6, Miami Dade College's north campus will be transformed into a winter wonderland.
If it's anything like last year, Santa will arrive by helicopter from the North Pole at 10 a.m.
There will be a holiday parade with costumed characters, Santa's helpers and local marching bands.
Also, storytime with Mrs. Claus, and performances by dancers, musicians and youth groups.
Interactive zones will include a petting zoo, STEM LEGO tent; sensory tent for kids who like a quieter space and a display called Holidays Around the World that will explore global traditions, the school said.
Santa's Pavilion will have wellness and family activities. Princesses and favorite characters will meet and greet kids.
Children's Holiday at North 2025 is just five hours of family-oriented fun, from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., at Miami Dade College North Campus, 11380 NW 27th Ave. And it's all free.
