Following the theme Seek the Unknown @ the Library teens are asked to read ‘out loud’ from their favorite graphic novel, comic book, book or magazine during one of many events scheduled at various branches.

Participants will be awarded community service hours. Teen Read Week is a national adolescent literacy initiative created by the Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA), which encourages teens to be regular readers and library users.

Teen Read Week and its activities are sponsored by the Friends of the Miami-Dade Public Library and the Miami Dolphins Foundation.
