The Miami Foundation is accepting applications for community grants in this year’s $1.25 million program.
Applicants must be eligible 501c(3) non-profits, the foundation said.
The deadline for “idea stage” applications is Feb. 26.
Those invited to send full proposals will have an April 21 due date.
Proposed work must primarily serve the residents of Miami-Dade County.
Categories of programs to be funded include providing access to health and wellness; economic stability; inclusion of people with diverse abilities; a sustainable environment and thriving youth and families, the foundation said.
Maximum grant awards will be $40,000 and recipients will be notified in early June.
