Miami Lakes Youth Activities Task Force announced the 6th Annual Miami Lakes Rocks! Music Festival will take place on Saturday, September 19, at Optimist Park, 6411 N.W. 162 Street.
The popular event was created to provide an avenue of artistic expression for town youth and to promote cultural and community spirit.
Auditions are open for college age and younger artists from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, August 7, and from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday, August 8, at the Mary Collins Community Center, 15150 N.W. 82 Avenue.
