Bob Graham Education Center (BGEC) held its First Annual Holiday Show on December 19. The theme for the performance was “The Holiday Express” and it featured The BobCat Dancers and the Baby BobCat Dancers.
The show also included special guests performances from the Music Department, Band, the Cheerleaders, the Pre-K classes and students from Roxy Rodriguez, Reniel Mansito and Onelio Martinez's classes.
The performers had the distinct honor to have M-DCPS School Board Chair Perla Tabares-Hantman, Senator Bob Graham and Adele Graham come out to enjoy the show.
The performers also had North Region Superintendent, Vivian Santiesteban-Pardo and North Region Director Dr. Neraida Smith join them as well. It was a privilege to have these honorary guests carve time out of their busy schedules to enjoy the show. It was a magical night for all.
The administration at BGEC thanked all of the many teachers, support personnel and parents who made this show a huge success. Recognition also goes out to band director Carlos Perez, music teachers Audrey Carballo and Julie Locke, the cheerleaders coach Alexandra Rosa, and middle school teacher and dance coach, Mayri Martinez, for their commitment and passion in putting together the performance in such a tasteful manner.
The production was magnificent and the choreographies were impressive. The dancers did an amazing job in delivering a phenomenal show along with the guest performers. The 'Holiday Express' definitely delivered!
