Celebrate Colombian traditions on Oct. 19

Miami Lakes officials are inviting the public to a celebration of the
“Traditions of Colombia.”
The event is part of the municipality’s observation of Hispanic Heritage Month.
Colombian foods will be served, there will be an art show; performances by two bands and folk dancing.
A beauty queen from Colombia will also appear.
The free event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, Oct. 19, from 6 p.m.-9:30 p.m. at town hall, 6601 Main St.
