Sept. 21 9th Annual Women’s Breast & Heart Initiative Pink Walk  Held at Miami Dade College North Campus, 11380 NW 27th Ave., Miami, FL 33167. For a $40 registration fee, there is a 6 a.m. registration, followed by an opening ceremony and at 7:30 a.m., a 5K run/walk. Get a T-shirt, chip-timed bib and finisher medal. Start a personal fundraising page to help WBHI reach its goal of $100,000. Oct. 4 – 31 27th Annual Pumpkin Patch The fundraiser for Hope Miami Lakes United Methodist Church returns 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. to 14800 NW 67th Ave. Admission: $5 Mon.-Thurs.; $7 Fri.-Sun.; $10 on Halloween. Kids 12 and younger admitted free with a paying adult. A free pass is available for guests who attend a Sunday worship service in October. Ticket price includes a $2 coupon toward a pumpkin or gourd of buyer’s choice that costs more than $2.
