Dieguez siblings graduate with doctorate degrees

Attorney Anthony Dieguez, founding president of the Miami Lakes Bar Association and Addys Dieguez, owner of Qualified Title Services, LLC, are both longtime Miami Lakes residents and prominent business owners. Together they are celebrating the graduation of their daughter, Rebekah Estela Dieguez, with a Juris Doctor degree from Florida International University College of Law, and their son Joshua Dieguez, with a Juris Doctor degree and an Environmental Sustainability Certificate for Land Use and Environmental Law from St. Thomas University School of Law. 

Rebekah attended the University of Florida, her father’s alma mater, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology with a minor in History. During her undergraduate education, she interned with the Miami-Dade Police Department. While at FIU’s College of Law, she received the Book Award for her Seminar Class in Law and Politics in Latin America. She was also on the Dean’s List. During law school, Rebekah interned for the Honorable Barbara Areces in the 11th Judicial Circuit, as well as working at Dieguez & Associates, PLLC, her father’s law firm. 

While at St. Thomas University School of Law, Josh was on the Dean’s List and received the CALI Award in Appellate Advocacy and in State and Local Government Law. He was also a member of the Moot Court Board, an honors organization. He currently sits on the Miami Lakes Elderly Affairs Committee and Neighborhood Improvement Committee, of which he is the previous Chair. He is also a former member of the Miami Lakes Charter Revision Commission. 
Josh interned with Senator Rudy Garcia and was the campaign manager for Miami Lakes Vice Mayor Tony Lama and Councilmember Luis Collazo. He plans to expand the family law firm, Dieguez & Associates, PLLC, while continuing to serve the Miami Lakes community.
