Easter Bunnies visit Miami Lakes

One of Miami Lakes’ biggest events is The Spring Fling -- when a helicopter drops candy-filled eggs to kids waiting in Picnic Park West, among other Easter-themed activities.
The Fling was canceled this year because of the coronavirus outbreak.
So instead, multiple volunteers dressed in Easter Bunny costumes on April 11 to bring candy and smiles to kids in town.
Volunteers, town employees and members of the Miami Lakes Youth Activities Task Force drove the bunnies around town in pickups.
Even Mayor Manny Cid wore a costume, shown in photographs below.
