It’s almost time for kids to go back to school! This is such an exciting time of year for lots of kids and their parents as they gear up with new clothes, the latest sneakers and brand new school supplies. But lots of families dread this time of year, because not every family has the means to provide their children with important, and sometimes basic, school supplies.
Elevate Church wants to help lessen the burden on those families by hosting a back-to-school supply drive on Saturday, August 18, from 9 a.m. until noon at 6250 Miami Lakes Drive East. Book bags and school supplies will be handed out to families in need on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
