Miami Lakes residents and Our Lady of the Lakes students (left) Aly Costa, 8, and Cindy Costa, 4, caught their first foul ball during the Marlins-St. Louis Cardinals game at Marlins Stadium on August 13. Their trip to the stadium was thanks to their father, long time resident and Miami Lakes attorney Maurice Costa, who won the tickets in a raffle held back in May during Ben Shepard Elementary’s second annual golf tournament at Shula’s Golf Course. Ben Shepard’s principal is Miami Lakes resident Dr. Eduardo Tagle.
