Miami Lakes Girl Scout Troop 263 is winding down 10 years of girl scouting as the members are now Girl Scout Ambassadors and seniors in high school. During their final year, the girls are being provided with skills to prepare them as college students, professionals, and to begin their own families. Pictured are troop members and friends during a recent Business Dining Etiquette workshop at an exclusive restaurant where Elfie Gonzalez-Duran, associate director of the Career Services Office at FIU, taught the girls how to conduct themselves during professional interviews and meetings. Other topics included professional attire, educational goals, and cultural diversity, according to Troop 263 leader Mayra Duarte.
