Graham Cos. reveals Main Street banner art winners

The Graham Companies and Main Street Merchants announced the winners of “Miami Lakes Inspires Me!” Main Street Banner Art contest. 

With so many submissions, only 26 pieces were able to be selected to be showcased on the light poles along Main Street.

The artworks were judged by over 25 individuals with a selection of the top piece based on Elementary, Middle and High school groups. 

The top Elementary School submission came from Bob Graham Education Center 5th-grade student Samig Sandoval whose artwork is titled “Nature’s Gym.”

The top Middle School submission came from Bob Graham Education Center 6th-grade student  Biloux Henry whose artwork is titled “Our Colorful Town.” 

The top High School submission came from Hialeah Miami Lakes 12th-grade student Franco Gomez whose artwork is titled “Growth.” 

The overall winners from grades K-5 were Samig Sandoval, Skye Lorenzo, Sofia Perez, Camila Robau, Klark Casas, DeSani Emily Costa, Jasmine Uz, and Felipe Coceres.

The overall winners from grades 6-8 were Biloux Henry, Madison Londono, Rebeca Gil, Elias Velazquez, Kelly Amaro, Mariafernando Soto, Brianna Busto, Lissbet Hernandez, Melanie Montoya, Alejandro Santana, Melanie Fernadez and Mia Wolff. 

The overall winners from High School were Franco Gomez, Kristen Gonzalez, Michael Chan, Amanda Badia, Madison Lunday and Gabriela Badia. 

The Graham Companies expressed its appreciation to Bob Graham Education Center, Miami Lakes K-8 Center, Miami Lakes Educational Center, and Hialeah Miami Lakes Senior High for support the art contest with involvement  from their art teachers and students.
