His House Children’s Home, located at 20000 N.W. 47 Avenue, encourages the community to participate in the $100,000 match challenge sponsored by the Batchelor Foundation. For every dollar donated the Batchelor Foundation matches the donation up to $100,000.
As of March 10, $67,708 has been donated. Those who donate $50 or more get a “Love is Louder than DNA” t-shirt and those who donate $25 will receive a “Love is Louder than DNA” coffee mug. To donate visit www.hhch.org/match-opportunity.
The center, which currently serves over 200 children, restores the lives of those children from newborn to 17 years old by providing a safe and nurturing environment. The 27 year old organization has served over 14,000 foster care children and 6,000 unaccompanied children from all over Latin America.
