The 2nd Annual Jingle Bell Jog is set for Dec. 21.

Presented by Headquarter Toyota, there is also going to be a dash for kids.

Last year, 850 runners competed.

Organizer Nayib Hassan said he predicts more than double that many to run in the 5K this year.

The race, to benefit veterans with post traumatic stress disorder, will begin at 7:30 a.m. at 6701 Main St.

Runners will travel a loop along Northwest 154th Street.

Participants will receive a Santa suit, bells for their sneakers and a medal that looks like a snow globe.

Runners should arrive before 7 a.m. to sign in with a government-issued ID.

Fees are $35 for adults and $20 for children.
