Main Street gets ruff for an evening

Main Street went to the dogs on Sept. 12 with the first Dog Days event held.

During the three street party dog owners and their dogs were welcomed to come hang out on Main Street where they could snag a pup cup from Dunkin Donuts, get a photo taken, or adopt a new friend.

Miami-Dade Animal Services was also on the street and had four adoptable dogs for people to meet during the event.

Dogs got to mingle with each other and enjoy the afternoon on the street while their owners enjoyed chatting with each other.
